            The Beloit Community Orchestra and the Beloit Ministerial Alliance will present a Community Christmas Concert in the performance area of the Beloit Municipal Building at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 15.  The Beloit Municipal Building is located at 119 N. Hersey in Beloit

            The 63 member Beloit Community Orchestra under the direction of Michael Harbaugh will perform first on the program.  The Orchestra is all volunteer and consists of members from age 12 to retirement age.  The Orchestra will perform “Tidings of Comfort and Joy!” based on ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’ arranged by Michael Story, “The Little Drummer Boy” arranged by Bob Cerulli, “Christmas Vacation” arranged by Patrick Rozell, “Christmas Rocks at the Pops” arranged by Ralph Ford,

“Christmas Sing-A-Long”; and “Stille Nacht” as performed by the Manheim Steamroller arranged by Calvin Custer.

            The Beloit Community Christmas Choir directed by Gary De Kler will perform “Gaudete” arranged by Robert J. Batastini; “While Shepard’s Watched Their Flocks by Night” arranged by Craig Courtney; “December in My Hometown” and “The First Noel” arranged by Pinkzebra Music.

            A freewill offering will be taken to cover expenses of the program with the remainder divided between the Orchestra and the Ministerial Association and everyone is encouraged to attend.
