Tell us a little about your business.
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is a 25-bed critical access hospital with 24-hour Level IV trauma center, in-patient/acute beds, a Swing Bed program, 36 bed resident care center, and Specialty Clinic. We have centered our attention on enhancing our skills and services to meet the needs of our community, modernizing our equipment and facilities, and providing high quality care close to home. Outpatient service lines include pulmonary rehabilitation, 3D mammography, pain management procedures, an outpatient surgical clinic to complement our surgical suite and operating rooms, and a Senior Life Enrichment program, among others. The primary reason for our growth is nestled among our patient’s needs, satisfaction, and experience.

Our mission, vision, and values will continue to lead us in providing excellent patient care and fulfilling our community’s healthcare needs. Being recognized with the Women’s Choice Award for Patient Experience, Leadership Award by The Chartis Center for Rural Health and Certificate of Commitment to Clinical Excellence from the University of Kansas Health System, showcases the hard work and professionalism of the entire medical team at MCHHS.
