Transportation Needs
Salina, Kansas – OCCK, Inc. Transportation, including Salina CityGo and 81 Connection, will be closed on Monday, May 28th, 2018, in observation of Memorial Day.
No vehicles will run on Monday, May 28th, 2018, including Paratransit vans and buses, as well as Salina CityGo buses and 81 Connection buses.
Transportation services will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 29th.

Mitchell County Breastfeeding Coalition
The Mitchell County Breastfeeding Coalition will have a “Nurture Station Tent” available at Beloit Fun Day this Saturday, May 26 from 10 AM until 1 PM.
The white tent will be located near the Kid Zone on west Main street and will provide a private, comfortable area complete with diaper changing station, water, and chairs to sit in while feeding, changing, or soothing a baby.
The Nurture Station Tent was created by the Mitchell County Breastfeeding Coalition through funding from the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition to provide amenities to all families with young children at Mitchell County events.

The BHS Class of 1978 will host a street dance Saturday, May 26. We are extending this invitation to everyone in the community to join us for an evening of dancing and fellowship! The band, SISTER WHISKEY, will play from 9:00 p.m. until midnight, and the 200 block of South Mill Street will be blocked off for the event. Plan to start your evening off by “Cruz’n Mill” and then continue the homecoming weekend festivities by joining the class of 1978 for an evening of fun! Bring your lawn chairs. The Kettle will be selling your favorite wines, beers, and sodas if you need a refreshment. No Coole rs please. We hope to see you there!

8 Man Pep Rally
The 33rd Annual Kansas 8-Man All-Star Football Games are scheduled for Saturday, June 9th at Trojan Field in Beloit beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Pep Rally & Ice Cream Social for the players, coaches and fans on Friday, June 8th, starting at 2pm., in downtown Beloit.
Over 90 players and coaches will be introduced, signing autographs, playing games and treated to free ice cream. There will be games, giveaways, and much much more. This is a great way to come and help celebrate the best of the best in 8-Man football.
We would like ALL businesses to decorate with the 8-man team colors, which are GREEN, GOLD, RED, AND BLUE. Feel free to be creative Let’s show everyone how proud we are to be hosting the 8-Man games in Beloit!
