209 E Main #104., Beloit, KS 67420 ¨ 785-738-2717 ¨ email@example.com
Heather and I are excited to announce we are officially moved and enjoying our new office! Although we still are getting settled we welcome anyone who would like to stop by and see us! Our new location is 209 E Main #104, inside Porter House. We want to thank everyone who helped us in this wonderful journey. In just 50 minutes, yes 50 minutes, the old Chamber Office was completely empty and everything was in the new office. Heather and I were amazed at how fast and smooth everything went.
To help is get to this point we want to thank:
¨ NCK Tech Carpentry and Electric departments for the construction and electrical.
¨ Kevin at the Porter House for the painting and polishing of the floors.
¨ Schnell & Pestinger for having a beautiful couch and tables for us to purchase as well as a table and chairs from A Full House.
¨ Solomon Valley Bank for the donuts they brought to us on moving day!
¨ The “Crew” that helped us moving day— City of Beloit (Lynn Miller, Click Clark, Robert Thompson and Matthew Kuiack) Robert Davis from H & R Block, Jason Huff from Pet Connection, TJ Owen from Meyer Chiropractic and Scott Hartman.
¨ Willow Springs for allowing us to use their appliance dolly to move our 1950 International Harvester refrigerator
¨ Solomon Valley Economic Development for funding for new furniture
I am sure we have forgotten so many others, but know we appreciate everyone who has helped. Please stop by this morning for the Chamber Coffee at the Porter House and we will have the office open for viewing!

Sizzlin with Santa Chili Cook-Off
Congratulations to Cash Money Cookers (Farmway Credit Union) for winning the “Bragging Rights” for the Sizzlin with Santa Chili Cook-Off. The competition was tough and voting was close! Also want to thank the other competitors, Bug Roasters (World Pest Control), James Clothing, Kettle Hot Pots (Kettle), Meyer Chiropractic, Reboot (LockIT Technologies), Red Hot City Peppers (City of Beloit) and S & S Drug.
The chili cook-off raised over $250 to benefit the Angel Tree. Thanks to everyone who came out and weathered the snow. Perfect day to taste test chili!
The Chamber would like to thank Santa (aka Mike Cooper) for listening to all of the children’s wishes for Christmas as well as the Mitchell County Fire Department for making sure Santa arrived safely.
Thanks again to everyone who participated, attended and came to sit on Santa’s lap! Looking forward to next year!
