Welcome New Chamber Members!

12:11 CrossFit

The Chamber would like to welcome 12:11 CrossFit, 1020 N Independence, as the newest member of the Chamber.

CrossFit has been called “The Sport of Fitness” because it re-introduces personal athletic achievement and performance to training. The mindset at the start of each workout is to be stronger, move faster, more efficiently, with better form than ever. This is why even after years of training CrossFit style, scores and times in workouts continue to drop and athletes continue to improve. It’s hard, fun, exciting, challenging, and will push you to be your absolute best!

We are happy to talk with you more about our program! Contact us and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours.

Clint Horinek, owner, can be contacted at 785-694-3779 or by email at

In commemoration of NCK Tech’s 50th anniversary, the college is pleased to announce the 50 Scholarships for 50 Years campaign. During the 2014-2015 academic year, the campaign hopes to establish 50 new student scholarships. As a special tribute to the NCK Tech faculty, program specific scholarships were established to honor former and current faculty members. These scholarships bear the name of those faculty who had a significant impact on the program and honor the faculty who were the program’s first instructors (serving at least five years) or who have achieved 15 years or more of service to the college. Alumni from the various programs are encouraged to donate to the scholarships.

Further details on the campaign and a complete list of program scholarships may be found on the NCK Tech website: Donations to the scholarship campaign are accepted on line – simply click on the “Donate to This Campaign” button and specify the scholarship of your choice. For further information on establishing a scholarship in this campaign,, contact Mari Tucker, Marketing/Foundation, at 785-738-9051, 785-623-6167 or
